Ghazaleh Nazari

Dr. Nazari is a professional engineer with thirteen years research, process engineering, process and technology development experience in the field of hydrometallurgy. In these
years, she developed a broad and in-depth understanding of various hydrometallurgical processes. Cu, Zn, Ni, Co, Li, REE, Se and Te processing and treatment have been her area of focus.
Dr. Nazari has been the Director of Technology at II-VI Performance Metals Division(PMD) since May 2019. She has been responsible for the technology and process development activities; improving existing processes and resolve technical challenges. She has been leading projects and research tasks with internal and external partners, focusing on new products and new process developments. She has been advancing processes from laboratory, to pilot, and full-scale materials manufacturing. Dr. Nazari has been leading the diagnosis of the plant processes, developing solutions to the process issues, implement the new process, and train and transfer the new process to the production.
